Don’t tell ‘m, show ‘m. That was the narrative thought we initially had for UNU Merit, a Maastricht department of the United Nations University. After a period of invisibility for the outside world, they now choose to communicate their work. Starting with the question: Who are we?
In the thought that You are what you do, and you do what you are, practical examples often give a clear view of an organisation. The examples in this film express the feeling of the university; rooted in reality, with an open view to the outside world.
Ofcourse, we also tell who they are, and what they actually do at the university, but the true meaning of the work at UNU Merit, is between the lines of the spoken word and the impact of images. The high informationload and jargon of the target audience seamlessly connects to foreign authorities and international organizations.
