Guerilla Gardening on TED

Designer Ron Finley performs on stage with the charms of Bill Cosby and the determination of a Terrier. He calls for action: guerilla gardening. That’s the cultivation of vegetables on forgotten street-corners, public gardens and hidden lawns. Because ‘we need to get the industry out of our food’. And because our children will learn what a tomato actually is. His talk has a disarming directness and is one of the most authentic presentations that TED has to offer. Also this year T36 will support a new edition of TEDxMaastricht. After last years great success, there will be a next effort to load the event with inspiration. Who has ideas, must send a mail.
