Sander van der Pavert produced over 1,500 short TV movies. He’s been responsible for the satirical contributions for over 11 years. Sander uses existing but actual TV-images and makes an absurd remix. Van der Pavert does all the writing, editing, voices and concepting, so each film is a one-man’s product. In this example a funny contribution about Supermarket chain Albert Heijn, who collects its customers data. The remix is made out of a commercial about the AH-app (Appie). The genre can be compared to the so-called shred-edits. Original music clips are remixed to absurd performances. If you want to see more of Sander’s satirical reinterpretations, just view LuckyTV.
