In this short story see an uncommon squat in Caracas. It’s a social documentary that shows how citizens turned a former bank in a slum building tower. Despite the stories about violence and destruction it turns out to be a fairly safe free state. We have seen this documentary style before in this blog, it is an emerging genre. In a few minutes the viewer gets a reasonably balanced insight into the topic. The film is released by Vocativ, a journalistic organization that finds her themes in the undercurrent of the internet. And this film was tipped by Christiane Gronenberg, one of the writers at Zuiderlucht magazine.
