This inspirational story is about the Solar Sinter produced by Markus Kayser. This artist landed in the desert with a some technical materials to built a solar-powered 3D printer. The print material he used was sand. In the desert there is enough of that. Without any fossil fuels he melted the sand into vases. And that could have been also bricks or other objects. This inspiring short documentary is without comment, but at the same time very visual and with beautiful details. The video is already on-line for two years, but still as up-to-date as today’s news.
