This nice trailer announces a short-film festival in the German city of Dresden. The animation film was made by the Berlin producer Drushba Pankow, a team of two artists: Kardinar Alexandra and Volker Schlecht. The trailer video refers with iconic images to the film history. And even without the music it awakens immediate recognition of many classic shots. The animation sketches are made on scanned airmail envelopes, that were used by the participants to submit their video’s. We see a lot of stamps and seals in the background. The trailer concludes with the mention of the sponsors of the festival. Not just a collection inevitable logos, but beautifully fitted in the format by their own imaginary stamps.
